I have provided a brief description from Professor Robert Pryor's manual on when and why you would use the following tests:
CPS-2 - to assess the Five Factor Model through the use of behavioural and attitudinal descriptions. Its use and interpretation do not require a background in clinical psychology. The CPS-2 is primarily focussed on “normal” personality functioning rather than the diagnostic identification of clinically abnormal conditions or individuals. Having an understanding of how different personalities are attracted to different occupations will assist the Counsellor to identify possible career options.
OSI-3 - to assist individuals to explore their vocational interests and to relate them to specific kinds of occupations. This test will help to explore the individual's self reported abilities, work interests, skills, leisure activities to help explore jobs and careers in greater detail and with more specificity; as a means of generating actual job and career options for clients to consider; as an indicator of the person’s level of work orientation; as an indicator or the person’s level of work adjustment; as a means to improve the person’s level of vocational self awareness.
WAPS - knowing what individuals want from work is important because it may influence crucial work-related decisions such as occupation they will find satisfying, which type of training is likely to be of most value to them or should they change jobs within a particular occupation. Such knowledge may assist employers with selecting candidates for employment and promotion, assist with attempting to help people back into the workforce after a voluntary or involuntary break by identifying sources of individual motivation or areas of likely work adjustment difficulty or individual expectations about work. Such knowledge may also help managers to understand aspects of organisational culture to identify sources of dissatisfaction within a company and to explore workers perceptions of their working conditions. This questionnaire has also been predominately used for students in Year 10 and onwards in High School and University students.
We charge a flat rate of $3.40 per completed survey. (On average, this works out cheaper than using the paper products.) If you create a code and provide it to a client, there's no charge until they submit the completed survey. There's no sign-up cost, there's no monthly fee, there's no minimum spend. If you don't use it for a month, you don't get charged. We'll invoice you in arrears at the end of each calendar month by email only on the surveys that your clients have completed. You can pay the invoice by EFT or cheque.
